What is Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business?
Encompassing over 600 Harvard students, HUWIB is a club that strives to unite and empower young women interested in business. HUWIB consists of 8 sub-committees, and IBC is our largest event of the year.
Who comes to IBC?
IBC 2017 drew over 1,000 participants from domestic and international universities. IBC is a convention for anyone with an interest in business!
Are people who don't identify as female welcome at IBC?
Absolutely!

Where is IBC being held? How do I get there?
IBC 2018 will be held at Harvard's Science Center, located at 1 Oxford St, Cambridge, MA 02138.
Transportation options: Boston Public Transportation, Taxi, Uber/Lyft
By T (Boston Public Transportation):
1. Take the Red Line towards Alewife.
2. Get off at the Harvard stop.
3. Walk North on Massachusetts Ave.
4. Continue on Massachusetts Ave. as it veers right.
5. The Science Center is on your left. It has giant rocks in front of it.
Should I bring my own lunch? What if I have dietary restrictions?
Lunch will be provided.
We are able to accommodate certain dietary restrictions, including: vegetarian, Kosher, gluten free and vegan. You will find a field to indicate any dietary restrictions on our registration form.

What is the dress code?
Business formal:
Dress or skirt that goes down to your knees
Nice button up shirt or nice sweater
Jacket, blazer or cardigan
Flats or heels
We ask that you please do not wear boots, sneakers or jeans
What do I need to bring?
Nothing, really! A tote bag to carry your IBC program and other materials you may receive will be provided, as well as lunch. If you would like to bring a few copies of your resume or money to purchase an IBC t-shirt, please feel free to do so!
Should I bring a resume?
Though not compulsory, feel free to bring a few copies of your resume or business cards for networking opportunities.
